Dr. Thomas C. Sentz attended Randolph Macon College (R.M.C.) where he achieved a B.S. degree in Biology. In 1973, he married his wife Ann, a native of Warrenton, VA., and graduated R.M.C. In 1977, he graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, Maryland. The University of Maryland was the 1st Dental School in the United States and remains one of the most prestigious schools in the country.

He began his private practice career in Manassas, Virginia where he worked for 3 years with Dr. Jason Woodside's father. He then relocated back to Warrenton where he worked with Dr. Anderson on Main St. In 1986, Dr. Sentz bought Dr. Anderson's practice and, over the years, expanded it into a thriving comprehensive dental office that has been an icon for decades in old town Warrenton. The growth of the office continues as he recently opened a second location in Warrenton to accommodate the growing number of patients the seek his expert care.

In addition to the continued excellence he provides his patients he has also devoted an enormous amount of his time to philanthropy. He has volunteered with the Fauquier Free Dental Clinic since its inception. He has treated countless patients in need over the years and has selflessly provided a necessary service to those less fortunate. His desire to serve his fellow man did not stop at the local level. He has made 31 dental missions to Central America through several nonprofit organizations. He is an active member in Austin Smiles whose focus is on cleft lip and palate repairs and the Belize Mission Project whose focus is General Dentistry. In 2004, Dr. Sentz started The Inter American Health and Development Organization (IAHDO) so he could further his mission work to Central America. With the inception of IAHDO he has recruited local Dentists to join him in his yearly trips to Central America.

In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, daughter and grandchildren. He also owns two art galleries on Main street in Warrenton where he has cultivated his passion for art. He has an exquisite taste in fine art and has helped multiple struggling artists showcase their work over the years. The galleries have also become a local Main Street icon by providing high quality paintings, sculptures and antiques that have become internationally known.
